Wallet Terms
These Wallet Terms govern your use of the Servana Wallet, a stored-value account integrated into the Servana platform for payments, refunds, transfers, and withdrawals. By activating or using Servana Wallet, you agree to these terms.
1. What Is Servana Wallet?
Servana Wallet is a digital stored-value account that allows you to:
- Store funds for quick checkout on orders, bookings, and deliveries
- Receive refunds from cancelled orders or returns
- Transfer funds to other Servana users
- Withdraw funds to your verified Nigerian bank account
- View transaction history and wallet statistics
Important: Servana is not a licensed bank or deposit-taking institution. Wallet funds are held in trust with regulated payment partners (Paystack, Flutterwave). Wallet balances do not earn interest.
2. Wallet Activation
To use Servana Wallet, you must have a verified Servana account. Enhanced KYC verification may be required for withdrawals above certain thresholds or for business accounts. You must set a 4–6 digit Wallet PIN during activation.
3. Top-Ups (Adding Funds)
You may add funds to your wallet via:
- Debit/credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Verve)
- Bank transfer
- USSD
- Mobile money
Top-ups are processed instantly upon successful payment confirmation. Top-up funds are generally non-refundable except as required by law or at Servana's discretion for erroneous transactions. Report unauthorized top-ups immediately.
4. Wallet PIN & Security
Your Wallet PIN is required for:
- Transfers to other Servana users
- Withdrawals to bank accounts
- High-value wallet payments (above daily threshold)
Never share your PIN. Servana will never ask for your PIN via email, SMS, or phone. Wallet screens are protected against screenshots. After multiple failed PIN attempts, your wallet may be temporarily locked.
5. Payments from Wallet
You may pay for marketplace orders, service bookings, food delivery, gas orders, and other Servana services directly from your wallet balance at checkout. If your balance is insufficient, you may combine wallet funds with another payment method.
6. Transfers
You may transfer wallet funds to other verified Servana users by entering their registered phone number or email. Transfers are instant and irreversible. Verify recipient details carefully before confirming. Daily transfer limits apply based on your verification level.
7. Withdrawals
You may withdraw wallet funds to your verified Nigerian bank account. Withdrawal requests are processed within 1–3 business days. Requirements:
- Verified bank account matching your KYC name
- Valid Wallet PIN
- Minimum withdrawal amount (displayed in app)
- Completed KYC for amounts above threshold
A withdrawal fee may apply for certain transaction types or frequencies.
8. Transaction Limits
Daily and monthly limits apply to top-ups, transfers, withdrawals, and payments. Limits increase with higher KYC verification tiers:
- Basic: Standard limits for verified phone/email accounts
- Enhanced: Higher limits after NIN/ID verification
- Business: Custom limits for verified business accounts
Current limits are displayed in the Wallet section of the app.
9. Refunds to Wallet
When an order is cancelled or a return is approved, refunds may be credited to your Servana Wallet (often faster) or to your original payment method. Wallet refunds are available for immediate use.
10. Failed & Cancelled Transactions
Failed top-ups are not debited. Pending transactions may be cancelled or retried from your transaction history. Contact support if a successful payment is not reflected in your balance within 24 hours.
11. Inactivity & Account Closure
Wallet balances remain available while your Servana account is active. If you delete your account, remaining wallet funds must be withdrawn before deletion or will be transferred to your verified bank account during the deletion process. See our Account Deletion Policy.
12. Prohibited Uses
Wallet may not be used for: money laundering, fraud, gambling, purchase of prohibited items, or circumventing platform fees. Suspicious activity may result in wallet freeze and account suspension.
13. Disputes
Report unauthorized transactions within 48 hours to support@servana.ng. We investigate and resolve disputes within 5–10 business days.
